Science is too important to be left to scientists alone. Smarter with Science is a community-consortium — researchers, patients, builders, and the simply curious — organized into autonomous working groups called pods. Each pod pursues its own mission under a shared values framework: Ocean ViSION (marine climate solutions), AI Impact Ventures (purpose-driven startups), Quantum Biology (federated biodata), and Community Resilience (rapid-response science).
The weekly heartbeat is Science Sunday at The KINN in Venice Beach. Part science fair, part hackathon, part beach party. Pod members work in the morning, then open the doors for anyone who wants to learn, build, or ask questions. A marine biologist sits next to a blockchain developer sits next to a high school student. The unexpected connections are the point.
SwS provides the computational infrastructure, operational support, and storytelling power so that researchers doing the hard work can focus on what they’re best at. We are Q to their James Bond. Contribution is the credential. The door is always open.
